Congratulations to Ms. Rochelle Gauvin and Mr. Greg Dohmann. Voted Most Prepared JA Staff Members! Ms. Gauvin and Mr. Dohmann, humanities and math teachers respectively, are both members of the 7th grade team. They were voted Most Prepared staff members by their peers for being early to work, consistitently using their lunchtime and after school to work with the students, always having their lesson plans and materials well in advance and for actively participating in all staff PD's. Congratulations to them both for being excellent role models for our Trojans! |

The DC CAS Pep Rally Was a HUGE HIT! The Jefferson Trojans are in BEASTMODE and ready for the DC CAS!!! Today's DC CAS Pep Rally featured outstanding performances at every grade level and a surprise radio personality. Saturday Math Scholars only 2 Sessions Left before the DC CAS Saturday, April 13th and Saturday, April 20th from 9:45 am - 12:00 noon. We encourage invitees to attend and take advantage of this opportunity to further increase their chances to "knock out the CAS". |

TURNING THE PAGE!!! USED BOOKS, DVDS, and CDS NEEDED!!! Help Jefferson Trojans support Turning the Page by donating used books, DVD's and CD's through March 27. Donation drop off bins will be located in Jefferson's main office and school library. Turning the Page is a DC non-profit whose mission is to link D.C. public schools, families and our community to ensure D.C. students receive a high-quality public education. The donations will be sold at a public book sale beginning Monday, April 8, at 1030 17th Street, NW. The proceeds will be used to support Turning the Page's programming." |
